  • What should I wear?

Your basic comfortable workout clothes, whatever they may be for you.  We recommend dressing in layers, especially when the temps dip a little.  Don't worry, we'll get your blood going quickly, and then you can always remove layers later.

Do I need to bring anything?

You only need to bring your own yoga/exercise mat, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.  We also recommend bringing at least 2 water bottles so you can stay hydrated. (on occasion, water will be for sale during Trial for Charity Days).

Also, on the first day of camp you must bring some completed paperwork, which can be found here: Boot Camp Info Forms

Do I need to be in shape before joining?

No -- that's what we're here for! Our campers represent diverse fitness backgrounds and experiences from avid runners to former couch potatoes to new moms trying to get back in shape. We truly do cater to all fitness levels in the way we program our workouts.

How will I benefit from enrolling in a fitness boot camp?

Beyond the social benefits of meeting new people and supporting your community, fit camps offer several physical and mental benefits:

    • Increased motivation
    • Increased strength
    • Burn body fat
    • Improved flexibility
    • Accountability
    • Weight loss
    • Increased metabolism
    • Toned muscles
    • Develop consistency
    • Reduced risk of injury
    • More energy
    • Less aches and pains

Is this like a military boot camp?

The only thing we have in common with fitness programs calling themselves a "boot camp", is that we work out in a group and it's usually outside. We won't yell at you, we won't chant cadences, we won't wear camouflage, and most importantly, we won't be simply exercising without a goal in mind. Just like one-on-one training, we provide specific instruction (from certified personal trainers), we record your performances, and we vary the workouts continually utilizing many different pieces of equipment.

Do you have a refund policy?

We can only give you a credit toward another boot camp session if you are unable to attend or continue due to circumstances beyond your control. Any credit given is non-transferable to other services. There is no cash refund.  If you're not sure if a fitness boot camp is for you, we invite you to come to one of our Trial for Charity Days.
